Newspapers Outside the Train Windows

I am reading Graham Greene's The Orient Express. Early on (page 7), Greene sets a scene as passengers are boarding their train and settling in to their seats.

The French language aside, my loyal readers know me to a loyal newspaper guy. How great to be getting settled on a train and have "newsboys" outside your window yelling the name of their newspapers for sale!

Now, if you are anything like me, the train station or airport newsstand is the first stop after my arrival, so I would not necessarily benefit from these guys just outside the train window, but wow, I would love to see people outside my window peddling newspapers.

Opportunity sprouts in impoverished areas, thanks to tax reform
One of the great upsides to the tax reform package signed into law last December is a takeoff on "enterprise zones" which are called "opportunity zones" in the tax bill.

"These Opportunity Zones and their related Opportunity Funds should be very attractive to investors sitting on large, unrealized capital gains who want to both benefit from tax deferral on their original investment and potentially get a tax-free windfall from investing in some of the poorest areas of the country."
